January Hobby
Hello my dear Creative Kinds,
It’s a new year, and I can’t think of a better way to start than with a creative fresh start. For January, I’ve decided to dive into something that’s been calling my name:
The next hobby is:
WATERCOLOR ^^^
WATERCOLOR ^^^
I’ve played around with it before but never really tried learning proper techniques—and this time, I want to go deeper.
Last month, while painting cards for my hobby challenge, I realized how much fun watercolors can be. That’s how the idea for this month’s focus came to life! Plus, I’ve always loved how versatile and meditative watercolor can feel.
This January, I’m adding a twist: a Group Challenge! Together, we’ll create a Visual Diary Page—a single piece inspired by your favorite memories, travel moments, or anything meaningful to you. It’s the perfect way to practice watercolor techniques and bring personal stories to life.
Here’s what will happen in January:
THE MONTHLY MEET-UP:
This recurring monthly call is for everyone—even if you’re not officially part of the hobby group. It’s a chance to talk about creativity, share ideas, and get inspired. We’ll kick off the hobby month, discuss tips for starting, and get to know each other. Think of it as a creative coffee chat with like-minded people.
📅 January 12th
🕚 12 PM (CET)

FLOW SESSION:
Later in the month, we’ll have a longer creative session where I’ll guide you through simple steps to get into a flow state. We’ll break it into two focused 45-minute sessions with a short break in between. During this time, we’ll work on our Visual Diary Pages and let the creative juices flow.

DURING THE MONTH:
We’ll stay connected through a group chat, where we can share progress, swap tips, and cheer each other on. It’s a supportive space to keep up the momentum, share discoveries, and stay inspired throughout the month.
AT THE END OF THE MONTH:
We’ll share our Visual Diary Pages—not to show off or be judged, but to hold ourselves accountable and take those first steps into sharing art with others. This is always optional (as is everything), but I highly encourage it. Showing your work isn’t as scary as it seems—people are almost always kinder than your inner critic!
WHY JOIN?
Learn basic watercolor techniques like washes, layering, and details in a relaxed and fun environment.
Create a meaningful Visual Diary Page while connecting with others on the same journey.

Here’s to making creativity a habit,
